One amazing riff after the other. The sense of melody these guys have is admirable. My favorite BM album this year, maybe on par with Gardsghastr's album.
No doubt this is the mastermind behind the true Batushka. A step up on the riffing since the debut and the same quality of songwriting overall than in Litourgiya.
The absolute perfect mix between god-tier melodeath riffing and Meshuggah-esque groovy rhythms. On top of that, a crystal clear production that leaves you with a truly remarkable album.
Excellent release, loved it from the very start. The interludes and the intros for the songs really set up the mood for this lovecraftian journey, full of doom and terror. Special mention to the vocal work, it is really remarkable.
