Buddie is just a great, modern version of what alt rock used to be. The vocals are glorious. So clear - so crisp. And the music ranges from these really pure, acoustic moments to the absolute grungy, distortion-choked guitars of the best of the 90s. The Take What's Left (Demo) is SICK. At the 3-minute mark, your life will change. The fade out of that song would last for 6 hours if there was any justice in the musical world. BUY THIS ALBUM. You will not be sad you did.

Grindy. Fuzzed out. Shoegazy. This album is just lovely. But you gotta listen to Walking Spinning Backing Free. If you don't like this, well, frankly, there is no hope for your musical taste. You are done for. That track is glorious. Momentous. Shocking in its loveliness. Crushing in its perfection. When I hear songs like that one, I am filled with awe. Where does that come from? Brilliant!
