Moods shift from the doom laden swampy slog to riffing frantic drowning chokes, and are hallmark experiences throughout every song. My first listen of “The World We Leave Behind” concluded with a deep exhale as if I had not been breathing. The vocals are composed comprehensible and range from flesh tearing screams to dark frys to deep gurgling growls.The rhythm section floats every transition seamlessly and to perfection with a familiar Texan death groove punishment. Take my money!
