A collection of small artists showcasing the best of the best in all forms. I've read all the storybook stories and listened to all the storybook tracks and I can say without a doubt Light for the Wicked. Without spoiling it the story is so beautiful and the vocals and the songs end carry such strong emotion. What a beautiful collection.
The theme of the album is consistent throughout every track on here. There are so many great tracks and it's really hard to pick a favorite. However it'd feel wrong choosing any song other than Sapphire for this spot. If you don't understand why I say this you didn't listen to this masterpiece yet. Absolutely flawless work.
Favorite track was "Yet nothing could be done." I like the harpsichord a lot. In adition I think the title and vibe of the song immerse into the story description of the album best out of the 4 songs in Scapes.
Favorite track was "wave:{α}: disruption." The emotion of this track is perfectly captured. It's hallow and empty in the best and most melodically pleasing way possible.
