like a succubus, this record is gritty and dangerous yet irresistibly beautiful. unapologetically in-your-face and introspective, I believe Backxwash when she says she fucks with black magic cause this album perfectly fits 2020 and all the filth it's brought, as though she can tell the future. samples are ace, beats catchy, artwork fire, and--best of all--the delivery is fresh. canadian rap has evolved and Backxwash is at its masthead.
