ESSENTIAL x 10!!! This is as raw and primal as it is ever going to get - a thousand times gratitude for this release, I cannot praise it enough. This trio gets into the absolute outer limits of “free” “jazz” and never lets up. I have one tiny nit-picky critique because on track 3 Doyle moves from flute to bass clarinet and as a bass clarinetist heavily indebted to this master I wish it had been listed correctly - as you can see there is a bs cl clearly on the cover photo but isn’t listed!
