  2. from here, out there (DELUXE)
    by cropscropscrops & vaygrnt
    hands hands
Four extra tracks that really help from here, out there go the distance, all of them as excellent as the main record to come before them
  3. Scribblin' (feat. Army of One)
    by Cruncle
We made the banger of 2022 mate!
  4. w/ a window
    by cropscropscrops
    venn diagrams venn diagrams
Heady, introspective raps that never fail to impress over dope and head-nodding production, this bite size project is a great taste of what cropscropscrops offers to hip-hop
  5. impressions from the void
    by Mr.TruGuy
    song 2 song 2
Really dope ambient / electronic mashup music
  6. Worlds Apart
    by Dereos Roads
Worlds Apart (feat. Kevin Nolan) Worlds Apart (feat. Kevin Nolan)
Awesome alternate hip-hop with fantastic instrumentation, great rhymes and a super-tight lyrical flow. This dude's been at this a while and you can tell - the skill level is very high. Don't miss it
  7. from here, out there

towards the sun towards the sun
This album is Earl worship done right. Beautifully enveloping production and spoken in almost entirely metaphor, it's a short but deep listen and I love it
  8. Run It Back
    by Home Brew
80 Down Scenic 80 Down Scenic
Home Brew returns after 11 years for post-post-career reckoning.
  9. Depth in Shallows
    by Dereos Roads
Depth in Shallows Depth in Shallows
This 2013 album is full of dope beats and rhymes, plain and simple. Depths In Shallows truly lives up to its mid-2000's hip-hop inspirations and has been criminally underrated for a decade. Listen to it
  10. RAINCLOUD
    by Cloudy
    Don't Disappear Don't Disappear
Awesome home-grown alt-pop vibes from Cloudy on this one
  11. Home Brew (11th Anniversary Edition)
    by Home Brew
Good God (feat. Hollie Smith & Tyna Keelan) Good God (feat. Hollie Smith & Tyna Keelan)
Home Brew is an vivid early 2010’s timestamp of what it was like to come of age in Auckland, New Zealand, and is done with incredibly precise attention to musical detail and a fervent, irrefutable love and care for the craft of rap. Tom was already a marksman at this point, and his knotty verses and fantastic rhymes here are only some of the many selling points. Save yourself a thousand dollars and cop the reissue! 🙏
  12. The Malcolm X Blend (aka "The Black Tape")
by Cashus King & Jeff Johnson II
Even better than the Blu(e) tape, the instrumentals are elevated a level higher on the Black Tape whilst both Cash & Johnson keep the lyricism strong throughout. Another excellent instalment in what I hope is an ongoing series
  13. Symfonia
    by Ariel
    Layaway Luv Layaway Luv
I’ve been incredibly enamoured with Layaway Luv since I first heard it on reviewing your music, it’s an absolutely brilliant song, the best indie music I’ve ever heard. Production, singing, melody, songwriting, everything is just exactly on point. And that translates to the rest of the EP as well, these four songs are just excellent, and the short runtime just adds to the already abundant replay value. Really happy to be one of the first supporters! Keep going, I want the album!
  14. Anghellic Book 777
    by Cashus King & Blu

    by the winter without.
    almonesson almonesson
Really great alt rock, reminds me of classic rock songs from the 2000's. This dude is super talented!

  17. The Blu(e) Tape
    by Cashus King & Blu
This is an excellent mashup of two great artists who go back well over 15 years, with great verses over multiple incredible beats. This is a really great showing King, easily holding his own in friendly competition with Blu, an underground legend who's currently going through one of the strongest career renaissances that hip-hop has ever seen. I know it's not considered an EP, but if it were it would easily be the best one of this year!
  18. Four-Byte Burger
    by Ahoy
Top Bun Anthem Top Bun Anthem
I've been watching this man's YouTube videos since early 2011, so after over 12 years I think it's about time I show some support, and what better way to do it than purchase his frankly incredible electronic ambient music? This guy is absolutely talented and a humble one-man powerhouse, his music is fantastic and this new project is no exception.
  19. POLYBIUS: The Video Game That Doesn't Exist
    by Ahoy
    Audacious Audacious
This madlad made an hour-long documentary on a video game hoax and said, "hold on, let me just fuck around and make an hour-long electronic ambient masterpiece of an album to soundtrack it". This would be an incredible accomplishment just on it's own, but Ahoy is more ambitious than me or you.
