Another stellar release from the malevolent Morgue Supplier. The fount from which their musical creativity springs has definitely not run dry for these Chicago area grindcore sensations. The addition of virtuoso Danny Walker behind the kit for 'Dead in Spirit' portents a return to a more organic drum sound. His performance is nothing short of amazing.

I assure you that while listening to this masterpiece, you'll praise the abyssal gods of chaos as your ears bleed.

Transcending Obscurity has delivered a legendary global collective of musicians versed in musique du grotesque, With stellar production values and brutish album artwork, adding this sampler of diabolical tunes to your catalog is a no brainer. Noteworthy standouts: (Track 7) Abyssus -The Beast Within, (Track 36) 71TONMAN - Plague, and the crème de la crème: (Track 10) Morgue Supplier - Closing In.

Rabid Beast's eponymous EP is nothing short of amazing. Gut wrenching vocals, poignant lyrics, and massive bone crunching riffs drive this blistering thrash maelstrom. There are definite parallels to Demolition Hammer and Violence's best works, but make no mistake, in the domain of thrash metal Rabid Beast's music is an exceptional breath of fresh air. I cannot recommend this album enough. If you crave genre defining thrash, look no further.

Love the new release. Lashes and Beloved are my personal favorites, but as a whole the album is an exceptionally unique experience. I daresay an unheralded masterpiece.
