In 89-90 I had a show I programmed and broadcast on KZSC in Santa Cruz where I played music no more than six weeks old. Each show started quietly and got louder and louder within and across each set. Bliss just filled me with joy and filled a lot off slots over its six weeks, Welcome did the same a bit later. The Dharma Bums hit the sweet spot between indie jangle pop and twin lead guitars screaming out of a garage. And they were great live! Faves: Bright Orange Spot, Words, Stayed Up Late
