This is one of the most emotive and cinematic albums I've ever heard, and my own personal album of the year at time of writing. We Lost The Sea have gone above and beyond what I thought they were capable of.
Saintly Rows are one of my favourite bands in this genre, and they sound better than ever on this album. The production is better while the songwriting and vocals are more aggressive giving it a more legitimate old school "emo" vibe.
I heard Ben was to be "getting out of the CD game" and even though this is probably my least listened release of his if he stopped printing CDs and I didn't have everything he'd put out I'd kick myself forever. The way it's totally acoustic but still sounds like Cloudkicker is just so cool.
I saw these guys open for Balance & Composure and La Dispute in Sydney, had no idea who they were. If I'd had any cash I would've left with this EP then and there, their performance was impeccable too. Got more of a stir from a crowd than I've seen any other opening act.
