My vote for album of the year. Playful compositions, adventurous, telepathic playing by master musicians (magicians) at the top of their game. Very well recorded. Runs the full spectrum between dense and free to hard swinging. It’s probably a cliche to say it by now, but Mary Halvorson on any recording=instant buy. Highest recommendation!
