This is an album I return to again and again. The songs are a mix of folk/punk, with a take on the present and historic. Porter, the lead singer/writer has a great eye for detail both comic and tragic. The track Caligula, for example paints vivid images of colonial England in mockingly, absurd brilliance. The songs are catchy and I would love to find myself in a not so quaint byegone Inn singing and quaffing to the choruses.
