    The Wake The Wake
A one-of-a-kind neofolk album and great vocals. There's so much variety in these tracks from upbeat dream pop elements to dark synths backed by the regal sounds of organ while never losing its ethereal quality. And the fact that Lisieux is able to evoke medieval imagery using such a modern amalgam of music styles only speaks highly of their skills.
Ultimately, the album ends on a note of hope and overall feels very uplifting despite of its darker tone.

Great album, it's how spiraling into insanity would sound like. It's hard to describe it as it's extremely unique in a weird and good way but if you like combination of black metal, electronic and industrial, you're definitely going to like this.

  16. Forever Morbid
    by Death Comes Crawling
Dis Pater's talent continues to amaze, starting off in the Atmospheric Black Metal scene with Midnight Odyssey but eventually expanding beyond the genre — a clear sign of an artist who is not afraid to experiment and push his boundaries. This project is a testament to that, and a magnificent one to be sure.

Forever Morbid is an excellent follow up to Death Comes Crawling's first two albums and a must-have for any avid darkwave & synthwave listeners.

Nearly 30 years of musical output and still providing us MI and neofolk listeners with excellent albums such as this one. Hats off.
