at the moment, it's 'heaven's blade'. although 'going up' is poignant as buggery. the whole thing, with "the new backwards" & "swanyard" is a hellova final fling.

downloaded this on a whim. I'm now a fan!!! so easy to be terribly bland in this area of musical landscape, but this is anything but! great melody, beautiful recording, & absolutely a top treat. can't really pick a favourite, although "le murmure des esprits" is incredibly good..

love this record. Dark & lovely. vinyl (picture discs) is a treasure. the final 3, this, swanyard & the ape of Naples are an incredible postumous coil legacy. Danny Hyde deserves credit, technical marvel that he is. COIL left us with these, left this plane of existence & we are left pondering "what & where are Jhon & sleazy now?!? ".🖤✨

I'm (like many of you) utterly gutted. condolences to his wife and friends. he was going from strength to strength, artistically, & this is a testament to that.
