I thought "heavy drum n bass" gone extinct with Pendulum's disbanded several years ago. I was wrong. The Qemists is just simply awesome, powerful, heavy and colorful! As a metal/rock drummer I was searching for good dnb music and now I found Qemist. Must have! Now I can jam and play along with them just as I did with Pendulum or Bomfunk MC's. Love these type of music!

Wind the Horn Wind the Horn
Ego Fall is the third flagship of mongolian metal but they are a bit different from the others. They play metalcore which isn't my favourite genre but the mongolian folk influences raise metalcore into a whole new level. I just like their songs! This and Spirit of Mongolia is a highly recommended album and this band is just as a "must-known" as Nine Treasures or Tengger Cavalry.

Don't Want To Dance Don't Want To Dance
My favourite album is still the first one. Don't get me wrong Wisdom Eyes is a great album but calmer and not as lively as the previous two albums. Maybe they became more mature musically which isn't a bad thing but I miss the cheerful tone of the old records.

Hordak deserves more support and attention! A bit "Running Wildish" but mixed with melodic death metal and medieval elements. Great melodies, riffs, drumming. A strong, heavy and powerfull metal band! I really like their unique musical attitude toward the pagan metal scene.

    00:00/00:00
Trace of Breath Trace of Breath
Never heard anything like that. Mixing ortodox chanting with black metal is a great and pure experience! Thank you for this great album, it's just simply beautiful! It's like to hear the spiritual battle behind the silence of the monks of Athos.

  19. Memento Mori
    by Aephanemer
    00:00/00:00
    Unstoppable Unstoppable
Pure melodic death metal but not as dark as it's scandinavian brothers. Sometimes reminds of Norther and Running Wild but Aephanemer has it's own style using "power metalish" melodies which makes Memento Mori a truly unique musical experience. To bo honest I really like the gruff vocals too and guitars are just simply awesome. No doubt I recommend them!
  20. Empires of Ash
    by Sojourner
    00:00/00:00
Bound by Blood Bound by Blood
What more to say? Simply beautiful! There are tons of "atmospheric" black metal bands out there but those play mostly boring, overrated, and uninspired music. Sojourner by mixing atmospheric black metal with folk and classical themes made Empires of Ash a beautiful musical journey. Especially when the female vocals appear.

Their second album (originally first) is full of cheerful, fast, lively tracks. Best folk metal band around.
  23. Nine Treasures
    by Nine Treasures
    00:00/00:00
    Black Heart Black Heart
Mongolian metal became my favourite genre, no doubt! Nine Treasures is fun, unique, happy, heavy and quite technical. I really love every song from them and for a hungarian guy like me, mongolian music is somewhere deep in my vains to be honest! Can't wait to see them live someday!
