This album sounds much better on vinyl than it does in the car (on digital) and I don't know exactly why. Something about the mix, needs larger speakers to make the quiet parts down low. And I think the digital flattens out all the dynamics. This is a very complicated album, but delicious. Very dynamic. It deserves the time it takes to get up and flip the vinyl every 2 or three songs. The song "Goodbye Mr. Blue" is up there with Sun Kil Moon's "Harper Road" .. heartbreakingly beautiful.
