Brilliant, Innovative, Balls Out, Experimental R&B based record. Beautiful melodies, interesting production, haha!, but SONGS that you can sing. 17 Fires, Bat Thing, Ford, Moonflower, and the underrated, supremely talented, and magical super hero, Dorie Jackson. Her BV's make this record soar!
  5. Vampires 96k 24bit
    by Francis Dunnery
I love It Bites old and new. These songs, written and recorded by Francis Dunnery's original band, deserve to be heard and appreciated. It Bites never had exposure in the US due to UK recording company restrictions, but listen, love, and discover the gigantic talent of It Bites...it's FIERCE.
  6. Return to the Wild Country
    by Francis Dunnery
So great!! Love this! "Rack" n Roll LA style after his break with It Bites. Francis re-recorded these tracks in 2016. He felt the original record did not properly represent him as an artist when he first released it in the early 90's as Welcome to the Wild Country. Impeccable production: vocals, BV's, drums, keyboards, and GUITAR

    Brilliant record.
In my Dunnery top 3 (including Gulley Flats Boys and Fearless). Francis's older brother, guitarist Barry (Baz), was such a huge influence on Francis, and the love, attention, and talent imbued in these tracks that were written by Baz's band Necromandus in the 70's, gives me goose bumps!! Top to bottom, very impressive performance. One of my favorite Francis performances was watching him play these tracks live at the Rosehill Theater in Whitehaven, Cumbria, UK with Stein and Catholic Ged and in NYC at The Cutting Room. Call me a 70's classic rock girl but these are rockin', beautifully recorded melodic tracks. Buy and listen! ❤️
