In 2010 Alkoven & Remise were founded by JPK and KM in Berlin. Starting as a Project for improvised music with strong electronic accent, A&R became more and more acoustic, but still with many electronic effects and sounds. A&R are very much influenced by Krautrock, Afrobeat, Sci-Fi and Horror B-Movies.
