I quite lost myself listening to the beautiful atmospheric pieces on this double offering - it lends itself to reflection; quite British 80s electro pop, with a Vangelian vibe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4 - lights in the field - into the earth - heat beneath the soil 4 - lights in the field - into the earth - heat beneath the soil
As prolific as 'esp project' is, this album is a shining signature of Tony Lowe's gifts and versatility. Holding court is a romantic mysticism and dreamlike Englishness that reminds me of the film, 'Far from the Madding Crowd'; and of composers such as Ralph Vaughan Williams. Classical, ambient & progressive not least with its intermittent hyper-beats, new and unusual texture's, and studded with Tony Lowe's spine tingling sound and command on lead guitar. Wonderfully produced. Well recommended!
  11. On The Bridge
    by Beagley / Anania
On the Bridge / Overthinking On the Bridge / Overthinking
Love this album! 'Tis like art pop/rock with progressive roots. On The Bridge sends me with its stage/screen sound and soul searching lone piano and love how this piece is reflected again on Rescue. Overthinking feels like a prog classic doorway into the rest of the album. John's voice phenomenal has universal appeal. Love the atmospherics - ghostly, wild. Blown away by the Anania tribal like rhythms - and performance on The Battle. Can hear elements of Gabriel, Collins, Joe Jackson. Five stars!

Swept Away too Soon Swept Away too Soon
If you fancy an album of chill and flavor I think this is perfect. Electronic ambient very relaxing to listen to with its wash of soothing atmospheres (think Vangelis Chariots of Fire); interweaved with a cool momentum of happening 80's-like dance/pop. Riding With Nero stands as a lovely lone rock ballad showcasing John Beagley's superb range and sparkle on vocals. Thumbs up!

So enjoyed this album, infectiously interesting, superb musicianship. Robin Schell's strong voice has a great timbre a classic progressive feel. Anything Left Of Me Now's acoustic guitar is a super-tingler. Hollywood Hates You what a mammoth show, great lyrical idea, and love the musical arrangement - clever contrasts of complexity and simplicity sublime, seamless transitions and (am hearing) nods to The Who, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. Highly Recommended.
