Discovered this through Duster one day and instantly loved it. Cool sounds all around, great album.
  3. Some Other Ones
    by Mac DeMarco
    Onion Man Onion Man
Great collection of instrumentals, a short album with catchy tunes. I used to listen to this a lot a few years back, still holds up great.

    glass glass
Tons of really neat, atmospheric guitars and shoegaze elements throughout the entire album. Love it. blue smiley forever!
  5. Moveys
    by Slow Pulp
    New Horse New Horse
The album that put Slow Pulp on my radar, I've relistened to this album countless times. Brilliant album.
  6. Future Me Hates Me
    by The Beths
    Not Running Not Running
This album sounds modern but also sounds like something from the 90s at times, I'm a big fan of that. Great catchy riffs all throughout!
  7. Meaningless
    by Jon Brion
    Meaningless Meaningless
Really cool album from an amazing artist. So many different sounds going on. It's tricky for me to choose just one favorite track. I also love the albums he's produced/helped with. Legend.
  8. Ceres & Calypso in the Deep Time
    by Candy Claws
Pangaea Girls (Magic Feeling) Pangaea Girls (Magic Feeling)
This album sounds really warm and welcoming. Whenever I put it on it always feels like one of the craziest but coolest fever dreams ever.
  9. Retinal Bloom
    by the scary jokes
    Magic Hat Magic Hat
My favorite Scary Jokes album so far. The sounds on this album are vastly different from the other Scary Jokes albums, while sounding familiar at the same time. Magic Hat is so catchy.
  10. Damn Skippy
    by Lemon Demon
Geeks in Love Geeks in Love
I love all of Neil's work but this is probably my favorite Lemon Demon album. There are a lot of really interesting moments in the album that stick with you after listening, I even pick up on new things with each relisten. Great album.
  11. Either/Or: Expanded Edition
    by Elliott Smith
Ballad of Big Nothing (remastered) Ballad of Big Nothing (remastered)
The amount of times I've come back to this album for comfort and reassurance is too many to count. A really chill album that you can put on whenever.
  12. 무너지기 (Crumbling)
    by 공중도둑 (Mid-Air Thief)
쇠사슬 (Ahhhh, These Chains!) 쇠사슬 (Ahhhh, These Chains!)
This album is out of this world. I have yet to hear another album that sounds just like this.
  13. Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum
    by Tally Hall
Spring and a Storm Spring and a Storm
Fun album with energetic instrumentals and interesting lyrics. There's a wide range of sounds going on throughout the album, there's something for everyone here. One of my favorite albums of all time, classic.
  14. Good & Evil
    by Tally Hall
Hymn for a Scarecrow Hymn for a Scarecrow
Very nice album. While I like Marvin's more, I respect this album for the more mature/darker route that it took in comparison to Marvin's. There are some really great tracks on here worth checking out.
  15. DSU
    by Alex G
Serpent is Lord Serpent is Lord
When it comes to Alex G, DSU & Rules are tied as my favorites from him. DSU has a lot of very catchy and memorable riffs on it. I've always loved the track Serpent is Lord for its guitars. If you want to get into Alex G, this honestly is a good place to start.
  16. Beats and Breaks from the Flower Patch (U.S. Release)
    by Kitty Craft
    Caught High Caught High
Ever since I first discovered this album a few years back I've always loved the lo-fi sounds of the album. The dreamy vocals, the sample work, the lyrics. Everything on here sounds so good.
  17. Acrobat Unstable Record
    by Lemon Demon
Indie Cindy and the Lo-Fi Lullabies (Demo) Indie Cindy and the Lo-Fi Lullabies (Demo)
This EP has an interesting collection of tracks. Indie Cindy has always been one of my favorites off of Dino, and the demo is really good. Space Mission Alpha is an awesome track, wish it was a bit longer though. Solid EP.
  18. Nature Tapes
    by Lemon Demon
    Goosebumps Goosebumps
This EP took a while to grow on me, but when it finally clicked with me I loved it. Goosebumps is honestly the best track on here and it's one of Neil's greatest songs.
  19. Turn the Lights Off
    by Tally Hall
Turn the Lights Off Turn the Lights Off
Light & Night is a nice song, but Turn the Lights Off is a classic track. Both are great songs.
  20. Speed Trials
    by Elliott Smith
I Don't Think I'm Ever Gonna Figure It Out I Don't Think I'm Ever Gonna Figure It Out
While I absolutely love Speed Trials & Angeles, I feel like I Don't Think I'm Ever Gonna Figure It Out has got to be one of the most underrated Elliott tracks. Such a great tune, short and sweet.
