    Lady Smith's music brings such pure joy. I was attracted to this blend of 'earthyness' and electronica. I'm not always convinced that the electronic additions are as harmonious with the original as they could be (sometimes the original has been downright butchered, sometimes the loops and voice overs are just plain annoying,) but it's an admirable experiment that I hope will be improved on.

    My favorite track is the first one, but all together this is a lovely album. I love that it is named after an old car. Maybe that's part of my affection for these tunes - they remind me of my Carina Corona (a 1978 Toyota Corona) who, sadly, now sits retired in the paddock.
