Molten High recalls the proto heavy metal of Black Sabbath, but with a “let’s party” vibe. The guitars are crunchy, crispy and huge. The lyrics are for our time and speak to the desire which rages inside all of us to throw our shoes at the T.S.A. The epic riffs are invigorated by the off-kilter punk essence of Dead Kennedys, but without freneticism. Molten High ain’t afraid of an odd meter, but make no mistake, these guys rock too hard ever to be Prog. .
