    FOREST FIRES FOREST FIRES
This is some delicate, emotional, blippy, perpendicular stuff. I like anything that feels like someone was trying not to cry in the middle of a weird night, and this song caught my ear immediately.
  17. Abstract Desires

    Blushes Blushes
This album has a wonderful ambiance to it. There's a thickness to its textures, a neon fog, a damped vastness. It's haunting and delicate.

Devil Down South Devil Down South
chopped'n'screwed and glitched out and mildly abrasive. A great palate cleanser after listening to scads of "normal" music. More upcoming!

I've seen these guys a couple times in Houston and Austin and their music is groovy and spacey and pretty. Reminds me at points of Radiohead and Grizzly Bear.
  20. Term Two
    by Earl Long
This album is by my dad and his friends, and was recorded in a record store in New Orleans. It's a mish-mash of found sounds and ambient noise and spacey effects with a little bit of rhythm and structure added in. Surprisingly cohesive and enjoyable.
