Some people just make new things. I really love new things. What a wonderful thing for me to trip over. Superb.
  4. Within the Depths of Silence and Phormations (redux)
    by raison d’être
Inner Depths of Sadness Inner Depths of Sadness
Perfect for listening alone, whilst walking along a country lane at 3am. It's everything I ever wanted in a piece of music.
  5. Sing To God Vol I & II
    by Cardiacs
    Dirty Boy Dirty Boy
I love this album, because like all of their other albums, it might just be the Greatest Thing Ever Made by a Humans Ever. Worthy of Laudation over almost everything else.

  9. What Lies Between The Static
    by Cici Von Strangelove
    Somme Somme
Features two of my very most favourites of Cici Powell's. Maybe some might find them a little melancholic ( Somme & What Lies Between ) but for me they are up there with perfect atmospheric thoughtful meditations. Please, these pieces deserve your time and money.
  10. Flowers
    by Cici Von Strangelove
The Vibe is completely Metallica's ORION middle section, with a slight touch of TO LIVE IS TO DIE also. Absolutely not a facsimile at all, but holds that same place in your brain and gives you the same feelings inside. Nice.
  11. Cosmic Cruise
    by Cici Von Strangelove
  12. Dogma
    by Cici Von Strangelove
This is SO damn cool. Whatever FX Cici is using, it's not even a bass guitar any more. Seems like keyboards/organs. It's like the opening of The Shining in a paying respects sort of way. It's beautiful !
  13. Idle Sands
    by Cici Von Strangelove
  14. Heaven Born And Ever Bright
    by Cardiacs
Some might say Sing to God (and that's completely fair) but, for me, this is the band's most incredible release. Just the very first track alone !? It should be our National Anthem !
  15. Polish Night Music
by David Lynch & Marek Zebrowski
It puts me right back inside INLAND EMPIRE. Beyond perfection.
  16. Event Horizon
    by Cici Von Strangelove
Puts me right back into the astounding world of 1980s Italian/Euro horror soundtracks. The atmosphere is unmatched. Calming, disturbing, soothing, meditative, creepy and so much more. It feels like 4am on a foggy late summer's morning. I puts me places and I both want to run away AND venture further into the gloom. Just incredible. That is why I love this track :)

  19. Strangelove
    by Cici Von Strangelove
Superb use of pedalboard options here. Huge build ups and gritty wah saturated leads. Doom laden journey, but never gets old. A real showcase of Cici's bass guitar skills.
  20. Outlier
    by Cici Von Strangelove
Would perfectly fit into the world of Twin Peaks: The Return. Cici really understands mood and colouring of a track even if it's a jam. These tracks would make for an amazing ambient soundtrack for film. Beautiful chord progressions in this one too. What a journey she takes you on :)
