When one of Iowa's best hip-hop artists says that Tripp Shelton is the state's best rapper, there's no room to argue. He checks every box a TRUE fan of the genre is looking for. Flow? Tripp's got that all day. Message? Dude is always saying something important, he's not about that club fluff bullshit. Vocab? Yessir, got it. Beats? Bend your ear and turn it up in the whip. Any other questions? Quit asking and listen to this gem of an album already, damn.

This is Depths' Magnum Opus. This is through and through a fantastic album, no filler contained within. I'm so proud to call this cat my friend. I was late to the party for reasons he knows, but this album moved me. Depths is incredible, full stop.

This is like asking me to pick my favorite child. I only picked Phantom cuz of all the tracks w. a Jones-mixed beat, I like this one most. I pry listen to Shook Ones more. Just fkn listen to the whole mixtape already n quit snoozin on my guy.

Got to witness Chris first get into the studio and get serious about the craft at a young age. Dude's voice, flow, passion and energy are hard not to get behind. For the longest, Jones produced most of his own beats too. He's a musical success story, cuz he's still doing his thing and he gave up the streets to get there. 90's Baby is a catchy beat with his unique take on his fellow millennials.
