Very good offering. They've nailed the melodic style of 2nd wave. Interesting that they're Canadian as well. Don't hear much melodic style like this from that region. Production done very well, love the vocals on this album, and the riffs just kill.
Such masterful work in fee songs. Raw agression with the melodic in spells of a couple songs. Depressive yet uplifting atmosphere to me. Perfect time for the winter.
Some quality atmospheric post bm right here. An etheral world they've created. Love the drums and the creeping vocals. Soundtrack for the winter nights, if you live near a forest even better for a walk into the dark.
One of the better bm offerings this year. Variance of riffs alone are impeccable. To the point where it sounds like a split to some degree. Agressive and multifaceted. Well written songs, especially given the vocals are pitch perfect to match. There are many one-man bands now but this one has risen the bar.
An ode to the old frozen cold bm of the 90s. Synth hypnotizing, riffs pulverize and the vocals are perfect. Released in April but I'm happy I found it on mourner's collection in November.
Some crushing slamming dm here. Definitely in my AOTY list for death metal. Has an osdm feel encapsulating the brutal slam. Each song is crafted with proper instrumental execution.
Great to hear a unique offering from the usbm scene in 2023. Great atmosphere, layered well. So much that at times it sounds like a split with another band. Haunting yet inspiring. Just really a wonderful album start to finish.
