Genuinely insane that kids not even college aged are writing screamo of this caliber

Long Distance Conjoined Twins Long Distance Conjoined Twins
Not many bands sound this fully formed this early into their career. Home is Where is no ordinary band, they’re one of the best.

    Assassins Assassins
I love that the beginning of this album gives you a 50 second head start to try and make sense of what you're about to hear, before a piercing screech of feedback gives you one second to realize you've just landed in the middle of a furiously colorful wall of sound.

The three track opening run from Assassins to 2 Towers has to be one of the greatest ever done in noise rock history. I love every track on this album.
  12. Wind's Poem
    by Mount Eerie
Through The Trees Through The Trees
The way Phil makes the music wash over you like the pre-recorded wind samples in the album, mysteriously comforting with a sense of awe, really cements his skill at blurring the lines between the sounds of his home, and the music that he writes. There are very few musicians out there who can effortlessly draw the listener into any kind of atmosphere, especially one that blends the elemental, the meditative, the brutal, and the beautiful.

An incredible record in Mount Eerie’s discography.

II. Solar System II. Solar System
It’s like a Kubrick film for your ears. The Microphone’s most ambitious project pays off stunningly and produces a beautifully idiosyncratic experience that is wholly unlike any other folk album out there.

    Best experienced as a whole.

The most justifiably angry album ever, that ends with the line “You cannot take my joy!”

    YOU THOUGHT

    SOUL GLO forever
  15. American Don
    by Don Caballero
Haven't Lived Afro Pop Haven't Lived Afro Pop
One of the most complex, yet strikingly playful math rock albums ever conceived; Don Caballero capture a pivotal point in their career in some of the strongest melodic songs they produced, guided all by Damon Che's thunderous drumming.

    Fantastic Record.

    ショウシツ点よ笛 ショウシツ点よ笛
These guys know too damn well how to capture the sound of lightning in a bottle.

Highlights: “Vanishing Point and Whistle,” “Two Moons,” “Goodbye,” and “Say It Ain’t So.”

    Absolutely stellar record.
