  1. Celestial Cemetery
    by Purple Hill Witch
    Burnt Offering Burnt Offering
Wow.....I've waited 3.5 longggg years for this release. Was it worth the wait? Gods yes. Their sound has evolved just enough. The first album was an atmospheric doom masterpiece. This record is filled with heavy grooves and riff sorcery. Unholy and Unreal!
  2. Bastards Born
    by Wretch
    Bassment Dweller Bassment Dweller
Wretch are back! What a great EP. These dudes really bring the heavy. So fucking tragic to hear about the guys in the band. KARL, PLEASE REFORM THIS BAND!!!! You guys are amazing
  3. Wretch
    by Wretch
    Icebound Icebound
A near perfect record of Traditional American Doom. Slow, heavy, haunting. There are some Wino vibes happening, but definitely not a carbon copy. Can't wait for my Blood Red Vinyl to arrive!
  4. Whore (Full Album)
    by Mephistofeles
Wizard Of Meth Wizard Of Meth
Heavy, grimy riffs with great, clean vocals. Songs of drugs and depravity, my favorite kinds
  5. Day Of Light
    by Constantine
The Trip (Parts I & II) The Trip (Parts I & II)
Super Groovy stuff, really enjoying this throw to the 60s psychedelia. Wish I picked up the vinyl!!!
  6. The Vampire Strikes Back
    by Salem's Pot
The Vampire Strikes Back (Full Version) The Vampire Strikes Back (Full Version)
What an unbelievable release! A bit of a spooky retro vibe here. If this is a preview of the direction Salem's Pot is headed I'm all in! Super catchy first track (full length) and another cracking track after that. And a Halloween release?? Perfect. Stay ghoulish fiends!

Nothin' but Dead Stuff Nothin' but Dead Stuff
An incredible album on so many levels. Riffs, evil vocals, just tight musicianship. Jeff's vocals are spot on and meld between heavy and haunting. The acoustic track 300 EYES is just amazing. Cant wait for the vinyl. You'd be a damn fool not to grab this album today, as in right now!! And like Steve said, album of the fucking year!!!!!
  9. II
    by Weedpecker
    Nothingness Nothingness
Don't know this one slipped by me thus far. Just like their last EP, the psychedelic sounds of Weedpecker come raining down on us from the smoke filled dreamscape above. Really great extended jams and solos. Great job once again guys! Now when can i buy the vinyl?!?!
  10. HEAVY ROCK FROM ELDER TIMES (Demo 2015)
    by SKUNK
    Wizard Bong Wizard Bong
Hear that? Its me, riding HIGHHHH on the SKUNK train!!!! Being the Smoked_Out_Sorcerer, how could I not love a song called Wizard Bong?? These guys kill it. Heavy and grimy! Thanks to Paul and FDJ. Solid tunes

Don't Be Sad Don't Be Sad
So good! Well produced mellow jams with great vocals and tight musicianship. Harkens to the days of late 60's rock. My new sunday chillin out go-to album
  13. The Axeman Cometh
    by Wicked Lady
Out Of The Dark Out Of The Dark
Oh my, what we have here is a band that was writing and performing at the same time as some of the big name Brit bands like CREAM etc. This band has soooo much edge, groove, grit and grime to it. Its fu*king unreal. Fuzzy wah-wah's and great vocals make this an everyday listener. THANKS PAUL for the feed. I just can't stop listening!
  14. Psychotic Overkill
    by Wicked Lady
Ship Of Ghosts Ship Of Ghosts
More of the Wickedest Lady ever. With an epic 22 minute track of shredding and jammin this is just not to be missed. Killer tunes
  15. LIVE AT THE HAIR TEMPLE
    by FOGG
2ND RAINBOW JAM 2ND RAINBOW JAM
Since I've gotten on the FOGG train, I don't want it to end! Just picked up the DEATH vinyl from Play Pinball Records. Man these guys jam! 2nd RAINBOW JAM is super groovy and fuzzy. I can't wait for the new LP to drop on TEE PEE records this year. Another excellent release from these Texas cats
  16. Hic Abundant Leones
    by The Tower
Lions At The Gate Lions At The Gate
WOW!!! I am truly blown away by this release. If/when FDJ and the retro rockers get their hands on this, it'll catch like wild fire. LUCY and LIONS AT THE GATE alone are worth the price of admission, but the entire ride is unreal
  17. Orion
    by Orion
    Orion Orion
This is some killer lo-fi doom with the perfect amount of groove to keep my head banging. Some obvious First Four Sabbath influence here as well as early Wino. These guys are great!
  18. DEATH
    by FOGG
    SLUDGEMOTHER SLUDGEMOTHER
I passed on this so many times because I'm a bozo. Some synth vocals may turn people off but after a few listens, the album really sets in. Awesome jams and heavy riffs
  19. Purple Void
    by Spacefog
    Gravedigger Gravedigger
Great album overall! Gravedigger reminds me of Dragonaut by Sleep! You can hear the influences but the band manages to create a sound all their own. Great for fans of retro rock!
