  38. Good Sounds
    by Whizzy's Canvas
    00:00/00:00
Comin Around The Mountain Comin Around The Mountain
Wave and Bold Notions are my favourite songs here. They unfold in slow confident motion, self possessed sonic adventures.

  41. I Never Heard the Sparrow
    by Adam Mowery
    00:00/00:00
Adam Mowery is a indie maritime artist with a penchant for crafting lo fie pop gems. This track sounds great and lines like "Burton Cummings can hear the drumming coming from the setting sun" sound terrific and crack me up at the same time.
  42. Local Bands
    by Adam Mowery
    00:00/00:00
Adam uses a narrative structure here to tell not only his story, but the story of indie bands everywhere. A perfect pop structure and his sense of humour shine through like a laser.
  43. Hanging Cloud
    by Thewakingnight
    00:00/00:00
This is another of their blues/rock tunes featuring their hooky guitar riffs. And both Evelyn and Hanging Cloud seem to be songs featuring native American characters. Cool stuff.
  44. Evelyn
    by Thewakingnight
    00:00/00:00
The Waking Night are another maritime band, hailing from Fredericton. They mine blues rock territory expertly here. I love their sound.
  45. kinda awkward | acoustic
    by The Damn Truth
    00:00/00:00
Do yourself a favour and check out The Damn Truths debut record Dear in the Headlights. This may very well be the best rock and roll band in Canada - not a word of exaggeration. They've done an acoustic version of Kinda Awkward off their debut and it's a spine tingling performance.
