I like singer-songwriter music. But also I really love mellow alt. rock bands that write songs about the intricate knowing of how it feels to want to die and want things you can't have. (Looking at you, Sorority Noise and American Trappist/River City Extension)

This track, as well as the rest of the album, feels at home in those deep, dark places that bubble-up just under the surface of your bad days and during your dark times. It's truly a work of art. a damn fine one.
