My first brush with Sound Struggle was through the followup to this album, Rise. It took me a bit to "get" Rise, and it wasn't until some time later that I found this s/t debut. I love Snarky Puppy, I love metal, and this is that place in between the two. If the followup to Rise is in the area between the s/t and Rise then I believe this band will be damned near to perfection as a blend of awesome soundscapes.
So young, such richly constructed tunes, and so incredibly much promise.
