This was my first experience of Indian classical style music. As suggested by the Dilla tribute the sound appears to borrow from the feeling based production prominent in instrumental hip hop. What Jaubi created is a refreshing mess of looping sounds played by expert performers. it's a real joy to return to this familiar warmth every now and then.
