  1. Dreamweavers
    by Mark de Clive-Lowe
After a long wait, we get an opportunity to share the straight-up "Jazz" side of maestro Mark de Clive-Lowe and friends [Tommaso Cappellato and Andrea Lomdardini].
Since Cappellato and Lomdardini produced this time around [a rarity for de Clive-Lowe], they were able to convice the prolific Pianist to leave his beat machines and sequencers out of it!
The result is a BRILLIANT post-modern Jazz trio album that should NOT be missed.
Get into it. You'll be glad you did!

  11. Nine Lives
    by Katalyst
These Kats are those KATS! We may be biased - and blessed - as the genius musicians of KATALYST [The Collective] have become close friends and consistant collaborators of THE NONSEMBLE over the years that we'watched them grow - from cool little cubs to absolute lions... well on their way to be Jazz Giants.
From their formation and those early shows at L.A.'s preeminent venues [The World Stage / The Blue Whale et al] through their residency at our local [The Del Monte Speakeasy - Venice, CA]!

  15. Signs Of Life (Urban Sessions Live Stream)
    by MABUTA Trio
As a matter of course, we knew we would dig this one, so we doled out for the digital as soon as we set our eyes on it.
Shane Cooper's MABUTA has been an automatic pull since we first ran across the Bass bombing [Band] Director [Music] Producer a few years back.
Without choosing a favorite track [just yet] we do want to say that the vibe and sound on this Live recording are exellent bits, beats and peaces of the latest wave of music recorded Live in The Time of Corona.
