This album is really confusing. When I first listened through, I was waiting for there to be a beat, or some sort of jam to kick in and take off. That never happened. This doesn't seem to me to really be a music recording, but an experiment in nostalgic 80s/90s tv ambience. It's just so odd cause none of this stuff should work together, but it does. I couldn't decide if this was the work of a madman, or a genius. I've come to the conclusion that it's the latter. It really takes you off to another place and keeps you cemented there until you're done listening. All the little snippets of commercials or broadcasting that seem randomly spliced in just work so well in a way. It's chaotic in form, but soothing/nostalgic in delivery and feeling. Extremely bizarre, definitely recommend.
