I keep coming back to this record.

Very rarely does a band encapsulate a moment in time and space. Melancholy but at the same time uplifting and hopeful. I might be pontificating, but they captured the moments of a scene getting older, and the prologue to something new.

Oh, and the riffs are super sweet.

You ever hear riffs that just put a big goofy smile on your face cause they are so feel-good and emotive? This album is riddled with them. A record that requires a full-listen every time.

When artists pull their influences and twist them in a new and inventive way is always a risk. This record successfully takes that risk. Lush yet deliberate, and simply just filled with great riffs throughout.

We Prefer a Little Hair Down There We Prefer a Little Hair Down There
One of the first bands 10 years ago to show me what "math rock" is.
with the best riffs I have ever heard, still to this day.
