    by Wesenwille
The Introversion of Sacrifice The Introversion of Sacrifice
A big step up from the already impressive debut, A Material God boasts a metric ****ton of riffs that keep you on your toes, a dizzying swirl of dissonance, relentlessly pummeling drums and a venomous vocal delivery.

Dit is waarom de metal scene in Utrecht zo fantastisch is en dit is waarom dB's moet blijven bestaan.

Yesss. I know it's only January, but I had this on repeat for six executive times yesterday and I feel like this is probably going to be the album of the year for me.

Probably my favourite Cobalt record now, which is saying a lot. It's only April now, but I have a feeling this will be my AotY. It's ridiculously long, spanning two CDs, and yet nothing on this record is superfluous. Rarely do I feel like pressing repeat at the end of an album of this length, but I find myself doing that a lot with this beast.

This is not just a demo. When it comes to old school thrashing black metal, Wrang are doing all the right things. The riffs are catchy as hell and the production is very tradtitional, while everything is audible. What sets this apart from anything else, though, is the vocal delivery, which to me really seems above and beyond most black metal bands.
