One of the best albums I've ever heard. The kind of album that reminds me that music can be more than just good sounds but also something tangible that you can experience and really feel.
This album fits together like scarecrow patchwork, but is seen together so seamlessly and tastefully that you'd struggle to define where one part ends and another begins. pleasure suck is coherent in a nebulous way. This album has a full spectrum of textures, sounds, and emotions meandering back and forth between shimmery and ethereal to dark and sludgy and everywhere in between. They say that when you die your while life flashes in front of your eyes. Listening to this album makes me feel as though I'm getting the opportunity to witness someone else reflecting upon their life as it flickers before them, seeing every moment of joy and sorrow alike. Spirit of the beehive have really taken themselves to a whole new level for me personally, and I think many others would agree. It's feels like a privilege to be allowed to hear these songs as often as I'd like. I know this album would be good, but I didn't expect for it to be this great. I've never even written a review before, but I felt that I needed to. It's just worth it. buy it, and turn the volume way up
