Crocodilians And Other Creepy Crawling Sshh... Crocodilians And Other Creepy Crawling Sshh...
Quite simply the best stoner doom album you'll hear this year, or in fact of the last few years. Heavy, murky, groovy as fuck, and without a single weak or even mediocre riff. Also, a fantastic production, 1970s-nostalgia sounds upgraded to 2010s heaviness. Only one complaint: it is a bit long. I'd have cut the last song for optimal impact.

Great heavy doom band, consistently massive albums, great artwork. Summit is the proverbial slab of metal.

GosT is the harsher, darker, more "metal" side of the retrowave scene. This is one of the best albums in the genre, fullstop.

    Holy Fucking Shit.

Utterly unbelievable collection of outstanding riffs, effortlessly dished out in a long series of consistently complex yet in-your-face aggressive songs.

A near-perfect blend of atmospheric post-rock and aggressive doom metal, with a dreamy piano and strings accompaniment and gorgeous clean vocals. Outstanding production too, with awesome dynamic range. Truly memorable and drenched in sadness.

I Defy For I Am Free I Defy For I Am Free
The sound Sarpantium achieved on this album is something unlike anything else I've listened to recently. One spin of this and I was committed to buy it. Relentless beats, layered melodic hooks, and tons of well-crafted atmosphere for a remarkably consistent and well-structured album. Some of the best DM of 2015.

Jute Gyte is all the black metal you'll ever need. The catalogue is daunting, but I think this is an excellent entry point.
    Thank you Adam.

    Civil (Battle) Civil (Battle)
Terribly addictive, minimal compositions with lots of nostalgia for simpler space-exploration times. An outstanding soundtrack which works great as background music for solitary nights.
