Yet again another distinctly original and amazing album by an amazing artist. Really can’t go wrong. It’s unexpected to see this level of creativity across everything. Spellbound.
Favourite track: Forever, Eyes Closed. Amazing piece of work that is as moving as it gets. I felt completely lost in it. From being moved to tears to absolute bliss.
It is important to take in this album in its entirety in one sitting. There is an amazing story behind everything here and nothing should be missed. This is an artist on the cutting edge of sound and one of only few I consider listening to currently.

This is simply the best Dark/black ambient release ever created. I once thought 'Cold Summer' or 'Continue' by Lull was the best but this release surpasses everything by such a long way. Don't be afraid of the dark. Be afraid of what's IN the dark.
Refuse;Start Fires to me is the best Scorn release since Zander. its bleakness and intricaty is flawless and rivetting. what a fantastic album. I hope Mick Harris keeps releasing albums as awesome as this one.
