The whole album is just beautiful, but To This Day is where I hit Buy Now. Absolutely heart wrenching and yet hopeful. It digs right into your soul. Get the tissue ready!
Very fine short stories, some creepy, some happy, some sad but all thought provoking, just as short stories should be, leaving something hanging in the air... and told in song!
This is a fun, wicked twist on old, well worn and somewhat old fashioned stories. I love how The Mechanisms have woven so many characters into it, including themselves.
