  1. The Fall Of Math (deluxe edition)
    by 65daysofstatic
i swallowed hard, like i understood i swallowed hard, like i understood
My favorite album of all time. The way they play clashing organic and electronic sounds simultaneously is so unique. Truly a gem hidden by all the generic crescendo-y post-rock acts of the 2000's.
  2. All is Violent, All is Bright
    by GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT
Suicide by Star Suicide by Star
The perfect introduction to the post-rock genre. The drum and guitar work in particular is stunning.
  3. Untrue
    by Burial
    Near Dark Near Dark
There's this emotional distance with Burial's music that is truly honed in on in Untrue. Like a desperate cry for help that is drowned out and destroyed by the cacophony of a grey, lifeless cityscape.
  4. 무너지기 (Crumbling)
    by 공중도둑 (Mid-Air Thief)
    흙 (Dirt) 흙 (Dirt)
huge props to mid air thief for figuring out how to get a synthesizer on lsd
  5. Velocity:Design:Comfort.
    by Sweet Trip
POV: You're a 2009 Samsung Phone that was accidentally dropped into the pool at a summer party
    Favorite Track: Fruitcake and Cookies

    by Parannoul
흰천장 (White Ceiling) 흰천장 (White Ceiling)
I like listening to this album at max volume and letting the noise destroy me
  7. The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place
    by Explosions in the Sky
The Only Moment We Were Alone The Only Moment We Were Alone
    Daydreaming in audio form.
  8. Ágaetis byrjun
    by Sigur Rós
    Svefn-g-englar Svefn-g-englar
i like the part where they play the guitar like a cello

    by bl4ck m4rket c4rt
    Alive, Always Alive, Always
    Rest in peace.
  11. In Silence We Yearn
    by Oh Hiroshima
    Mirage Mirage
Soundscapes so deep that it feels like you've gotten lost in an dark, endless forest. Fantastic post-rock album.
  12. New Energy
    by Four Tet
    Scientists Scientists
New Energy takes the adventurous folktronica of Pause/Rounds and boils it down until there is nothing but minimalist, looping, yet mesmerizing soundscapes. One of the best releases in the modern Four Tet discography.
  13. VESSEL
    by LORN
    ANVIL ANVIL
Music for the end of reality.
  14. Immunity
    by Jon Hopkins

  18. DEATH SPELLS
    by HOLY FAWN
    Arrows Arrows
Combines blackgaze with spacey post-rock into a strong record from start to finish.
  19. Paraglow
    by Parannoul & Asian Glow
    운전대 (Wheel) 운전대 (Wheel)
Wheel single-handedly out-does the entirety of Parannoul's previous LP and it's incredible. Really hope to see more collaboration works in the future.
  20. An empty bliss beyond this World
    by The Caretaker
All you are going to want to do is get back there All you are going to want to do is get back there
that feeling when you don't know how to feel anymore
