What a great album! It makes me think of the early-2000s, for while listening I was reminded of Sonic’s Adventure era, What’s New Scooby-Doo chase songs, and skate punk/culture generally. It’s such a nostalgic vibe and I’m here for it.

This album is excellent. I listened to it for the first time on an overcast, rainy day in Ohio, and it's somehow appropriate to have done so at a time when spring battles winter for dominance.
The title track, "Presence", is cool and has an interesting vibe overall. The first half gives Slowdive, therefore reminding me of Gregg Araki's film adaptation of Mysterious Skin.
I particularly love "The Old Regime", "Justice and the Cross", and "Start Again".

Love the Death Note reference in “NAME IN BLOOD”.

A lovely album that, like “Songs for Sad Trolls”, keenly reflects the emotions and experiences of various Homestuck characters.
“Fool” is equal parts gloomy, angry, romantic, and sorrowful. I’ve cried while listening to its heartbreaking lyrics and emotional sound.
