I'm not normally a Jazz guy but this was being plastered all over the NSP discord so decided to give it a listen and man I am impressed! This album is just groovy! Give me more Jazz like this!

NSP is one of those groups that has aged like wine to me. I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of their first few albums and primarily enjoyed them for their ridiculous cringeworthy YouTube videos. Their newer work is just way superior musically. This compilation is great because they took most of the good songs from their first albums and reworked them to sound alot better.

This album came out right at the start of what became my own personal hell of dealing with a major debilitating illness of my own and the near death of my father late last year. I’ve played this on repeat for days on end during the thick of it and there were many days where it was the only thing that brought me any semblance of joy. This album will live rent free in my head until the end of my days for that.

As a MASSIVE Rush fan, I don't often find myself enjoying covers of their songs. This cover of Time Stands Still however is an exception to that. I absolutely LOVE this cover and it brings me to tears sometimes. Its beautifully crafted and sung with compassion. Danny's voice is so beautiful and a joy to sing along with and SGB's acoustics are S tier. This entire compilation is fantastic! Ive been a fan of SGB for over a decade now and Danny for almost as long. Please keep making these!

Danny and Super Guitar Bros are a supergroup. Both of these compilations have brought me many hours of joy. I have listened to each of them probably 100 times on Spotify. I don't think a week goes by without playing at least one song of them since this was released. Now I own them in glorious FLAC to play in the listening room.
