Mike has the most impressive ability to straddle genres effortlessly, his guitar work is intricate and impressive yet chameleon-like in nature, he can take you anywhere he wants. His vocals on the other hand are so individual, I don’t know anyone whose vocals I’d like to listen to more, every aspect evokes something new. The true savant of “alternative” rock ie adventurous rock music made with (mostly) physical instruments.
