An interesting mix of feelings goes into this grouping of songs, but they come out the other side as a surprisingly cohesive and enjoyable album. I'm still not sure how I feel about the robotic voices, especially on Red Skies, but the full-hearty funk and rhythms, soaring and spacy synths, and overall nostalgic ambiance on the tracks leave the more eclectic moments behind in a dust storm of enjoyable music.
