The UK's leading solo bass guitarist - splitting my time between making music and listening to it. That's a pretty diverse life, I think you'll agree.

'Steve Lawson is a brilliant musician. I've known about him and listened to him for many years. He may not be one of the most famous bassists but he is definitely one of the most talented'.

    Guess Again! Guess Again!
enjoying this a great deal, Thom sounds a whole lot more positive about the world here, somehow... far less maudlin. Fantastically inventive programming and some great songwriting. Have never been a Radiohead fan, but this works for me big time.

This is wonderful! Clever, witty, subtle, amazing. Lots of different IDM/EDM influences swirling around, with a fair load of classic chicago house sounds and ideas getting a welcome update. Brilliant

I love everything LB+TBS do, and I particularly love them for getting better with every album. Progress is such a compelling characteristic. A really excellent album, building on a catalog of excellent albums. :)

I've been a fan of Andrew Howie for longer than I care to remember. As a musician, writer, thinker and human being, he's an inspiration, and his music just gets better and better. I have an unreleased all acoustic version of this album, which was already in my favourite albums of the year. This more produced version is at least as brilliant if not more so. Everything about it is great. Seriously.
