The UK's leading solo bass guitarist - splitting my time between making music and listening to it. That's a pretty diverse life, I think you'll agree.

'Steve Lawson is a brilliant musician. I've known about him and listened to him for many years. He may not be one of the most famous bassists but he is definitely one of the most talented'.

Heavy as shit, surprisingly melodic in places, utterly compelling from start to finish. Listen loud and often.

I so love this album - John's songs have been part of the soundtrack to my life for 15 years, since we first met in London and he came on tour with Michael Manring and I. Time has been very kind to this album, and it still sounds wonderful. You need it. :)

Another amazing record from John Lester - richer arrangements than Big Dreams... but no let up in the amazing song-writing. There are so many of life's up and downs that bring to mind lyrics from this album. Another must-have. Get it.

Easily one of my top 5 favourite solo bass recordings of all time. Rich is an extraordinary musician, and I'm deeply grateful that he chose the bass as the vehicle for his music. There's nothing about this I don't absolutely love.
