Listening to this kind of music has always reminded me of walking through Vallco Fashion Park as a kid, in Cupertino, California, with my parents. The stores were all open but there were hardly any shoppers, even in the late '90s. Of course, the interior decor had last been updated in 1988, so it looked like Crockett and Tubbs had designed a mall with brass thrown in. This album reminds me of my life's soundtrack in those days.
