Shattered and broken splines, dried, splintered and scattered by the sun and wind, reconnect into a sentient force.

Morphing formations, too subtle to even recognize, absorb across the canvas arc of sky. Like a drop of tree sap spreading over a still pool of water.

by Paul Paccione & Apartment House
I liked this observation the author:

My goal is to strike a balance between: the horizontal (linear) and vertical (harmonic) dimensions of music; between pitch (that which is measured) and sonority (orchestration); and between structure (the network of relationships) and atmosphere (that place in which the work exists – its sense of place).

In the heart of arid sands, where suns blaze, a desert planet whispers secrets through haze. It’s dunes stretch like ancient scrolls unfurled, a symphony of solitude in a parched world - Copilot

At first I was unsure of this piece. Now I can’t imagine a better song for this scenery.

Mountain rivers run through earth’s center. Warm air blows over cold streams. Once dark tombs, now alive with a fragile peace.

The manufactured electromagnetic belt is one step toward terraforming a dormant planet within the “habitable zone”.

But ultimate terraforming success belongs to the ultra large scale geoengineering pods, dubbed “geo-eggs”. Their internal mechanics hum with super greenhouse gas pumping turbines, anti-G force gyros, and inner planetary ion propulsion.

That multi-layered industrial hum can be heard throughout planet by the skeleton crew of engineers overseeing the operation.

All quiet at the pier. Considering everything, not a bad night. I am in the right place.
