To Be A Ghost And Forget Who You Were Before To Be A Ghost And Forget Who You Were Before
Many artists seek to capture a certain tone, or emotion with their art, but few are able to take us to a place farther than what is tangible, earthly, and human. Gloomseeker sits in a liminal space between the material and the spiritual-dreaming of a reality that embraces anguish, fear and pain and also hope, beauty and transcendence. Through this sonic vessel, we are transported to new levels of existence and are left wondering what lies beyond.

  19. Grappling
    by The Tea Club
I find Grappling to be the most gripping, haunting and complex record in the Tea Club's catalogue. As the group matures, they venture into new territory in bold new ways, continuing to push themselves rather than to allow themselves to become comfortable in their writing. Grappling is simultaneously melodic and dissonant, catchy and hard to grasp, beautiful and disastrous. I can't stop listening to it.
