  1. Becoming Peter Ivers
    by Peter Ivers
Eighteen and Dreaming Eighteen and Dreaming
I'd never heard of Peter Ivers until a few weeks ago, but I've been blown-away as I've dug into his catalog. He was a tremendous songwriter and performer, and this compilation of mostly-unreleased material does a fantastic job of highlighting his talent, working as both an overview and an introduction. Some of the demo/alternate versions of his songs are better heard here than in their "finished" versions, and the unreleased songs are an added treat.
  2. I'm Alive b/w When I Was A Boy
    by Juliana Hatfield
I love Juliana Hatfields Sings ELO so couldn't resist picking this up as well. I'm so glad I did - they're just as good as anything on the LP proper, and "When I Was a Boy" is an absolute jaw-dropper.

Eggs in one Basket Eggs in one Basket
No-one writes songs like Tele Novella these days, bolstered here by gorgeous, baroque-pop arrangements. Every song is a gem.

  12. The Days Of Wine And Roses (Expanded Edition)
    by The Dream Syndicate
The Days of Wine and Roses The Days of Wine and Roses
One of the greatest debut LPs of the 1980s gets the deluxe treatment is truly deserves. The live material (mostly unavailable before) is incendiary. Essential listening.
  13. Live At Zebulon
    by The Gentle Cycle
Blazing live set from The Gentle Cycle, the group behind 2022's stellar Landslide Eyes. A treat from start to finish.
  14. Appearing Nightly
    by The Swinging Madisons
Hurdy Gurdy Man Hurdy Gurdy Man
Propulsive, engaging, clever New Wave, from the same talent that brought us the Mumps! Every track is an earworm. I only wish the band's catalog was larger!

The well is seemingly endless with Bodega; this material is just about as good as anything from Broken Equipment. Great listening.
